Therapies

I offer thoughtful, hands-on care using acupuncture, moxibustion, and manual therapy to help people address persistent discomfort and access their well-being.

These three therapies are rooted in the wisdom of traditional East Asian medicine, practiced for thousands of years and now increasingly studied in modern clinical settings. While the techniques are ancient, their benefits are deeply relevant to the challenges of modern life—chronic tension, fatigue, pain, and stress-related conditions, to name a few.

My approach is collaborative and personalized. We begin with a conversation, so you can share your concerns, and we can explore how to best use these therapies to help you find greater vitality. If you are curious or considering treatment, please reach out so we can take the first steps together.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture in Rosemont Montreal

At the heart of every treatment, this therapy involves the careful insertion of ultra-thin, sterile needles into precise points on the body. When performed thoughtfully, acupuncture addresses not only symptoms but also their root causes.

Non-invasive acupuncture treatments at a frequency tailored specifically to your needs can have lasting effects on both chronic and acute issues. That’s why I prioritize listening to you and understanding your unique signs and concerns as part of every session.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion and Acupuncture in Rosemont, in Montreal

Moxibustion is a warming therapy that uses the gentle heat of burning mugwort herb on or near specific points on the body. This soothing technique helps stimulate circulation, enhance energy flow, and support the body’s natural healing processes.

When applied alone, or combined with other modalities, moxibustion is useful for improving circulation. While less widely-known than acupuncture, historically, moxibustion and acupuncture have been used together and are practically inseperable.

Tuina

Tuina and Acupuncture in Rosemont, in Montreal

I incorporate traditional Chinese manual therapies, such as Tuina. Tuina uses manual techniques to address the musculoskeletal system, targeting soft tissues and joints, and the general circulation in the body. Through its precise and effective techniques, Tuina helps remove blockages and treat chronic pain.

I am certified in Jin Shou Tuina and I am a member of the North American Tang Shou Tao Association.

Cupping and Guasha

Treatments may also include diverse tools such as cupping and guasha. Cupping uses suction to promote circulation, release tension in the muscles, and draw out stagnation from the deeper layers of tissue.

Gua sha involves gentle scraping of the skin to stimulate blood flow and trigger the body’s natural healing processes. Both therapies are effective in relieving pain, enhancing mobility, and supporting overall healing.
